Our Accredited Training History
2002
The first in-house presenter training course was piloted nationally by Noosa Community Radio, in partnership with the CBAA (Community Broadcasting
Association of Australia), and coordinated by Joan Masters during 2002.
Nineteen people enrolled on the course.
Graduates from our in-house presenter training course in 2002
As a result of much of the work carried out by the trainers and students, and their experiences and feedback, the course was
modified and amended. The resulting curriculum and materials were compiled onto a CD-ROM which was launched at the November 2002
CBAA Conference in Canberra, and is now available for use in all radio stations around Australia.
2003
The next Certificate course started on March 21, 2003, with 12 participants. Classes for the course were held in the Noosa
Coast Guard training rooms at Munna Point.
Our 2003 graduates
